Job Summary
Manage Terminal operations in Grand Prairie, overseeing a dispatch staff and 120–150 drivers. Responsibilities include resolving logistical issues to meet customer pickup/delivery requirements, training and supervising drivers, interviewing and orienting new drivers, interfacing with central dispatch and maintenance, and promoting driver safety. Requires strong communications and computer skills, familiarity with HOS/eLog, and a background in trucking or logistics; a Business Administration or Supply Chain degree is preferred. The role is a salaried, weekday position with potential weekend work and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred in Business Administration or Supply Chain Mgmt
- Excellent communications and computer skills
- Familiarity with US HOS regulations
- Experience with satellite tracking and TMW dispatch software
- Preference given for experience in trucking/logistics environments and terminal management
