Job Summary
Terminal Manager responsible for intelligent gate operations and intermodal terminal performance, leading staff scheduling, ensuring vehicle inspections and safety compliance, coordinating with ROC and intermodal teams to resolve complex operational issues, executing strategic operational plans, maintaining AGS hardware/software to meet SLA, facilitating interview processes for new hires, coaching staff, conducting safety briefings, driving performance metrics analysis, and ensuring proper yard inventory and container/trailer security before train departure. Requires high school diploma, valid driver’s license, proficiency with terminal operating systems, data interpretation for performance measurement, and proven leadership to guide salaried and hourly staff. Based in Haslet, TX on-site with non-standard hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Ability to operate terminal operating systems (TOS) and other computer systems required for terminal operations
- Ability to gather and interpret data for terminal performance measurements
- Proven ability to manage, develop, and lead a team to execute client workload
- Ability to adjust to changing facility demands due to seasonal variances and industry needs
