Terminal Engineer (m/w/d) / LNG Terminal Stade

Job Summary
Terminal Engineer provides support to the Terminal Manager for safe, reliable operation of the LNG terminal, develops and implements integrated operation and maintenance plans, coordinates daily terminal work (permit-to-work, maintenance, external services), interfaces with internal departments and partners, ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, conducts audits and inspections, represents the Terminal Manager in their absence, and prepares technical reports. Requires a degree in mechanical/industrial/electrical engineering (or equivalent), 3+ years in terminal operations (or 5+ years in chemical/energy processing), strong process-safety knowledge (LNG/Natural gas), familiarity with ISO/IMO/SIGTTO safety/quality systems, good project-management awareness, proficient German and English, and solid problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in terminal operations or 5 years in the chemical/energy-related process industry
- In-depth knowledge of process safety – ideally in LNG or natural gas
- Experience with safety and quality management systems (e.g. ISO, IMO, SIGTTO)
- Knowledge of project management is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Confident use of MS Office
- Very good written and spoken German and English
