Job Summary
Provide tennis instruction to members and guests at The Salvation Army Greenville Kroc Center Tennis Center, designing and conducting lessons and clinics, assisting with junior clinics and tournaments, evaluating student performance, and providing feedback for growth. Responsibilities include promoting tennis memberships and products (lessons, court time, equipment), supporting event logistics, coordinating with maintenance staff, enforcing center rules, and strings racquets for customers. Must hold or obtain CPR/First Aid/AED within 30 days, have a minimum NTRP rating of 4.5, and USPTA or PTR certification; HS diploma or GED required; outdoor work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- USPTA or PTR Certification (required)
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification within first 30 days of employment
- Safe From Harm Certification
- Blood Borne Pathogens Certification
- Minimum NTRP rating of 4.5
