Job Summary
Act as the manager on duty at Deer Creek Racquet Club, overseeing facility operations during early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Direct part-time staff including building coordinators and front-desk attendants while recruiting, training, and evaluating their performance. Manage daily court scheduling, registration processes, and the permanent court time system. Administer budgets, inventory, and accounting processes for membership programs. Handle front desk operations, cash handling, and customer complaints. Maintain building cleanliness, safety, and website information. Assist the General Manager with financial and enrollment reports. Respond to participant emergencies and complete accident reports. Perform light office work and attend staff and board meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year (4) accredited college or university
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in facility management
- 3-5 years' experience in organization of tennis programs
- customer service-related experience
- Valid Driver's License
- American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification
- Intermediate use of Microsoft applications
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Ability to exercise critical-thinking and problem-solving
- Regularly required to sit, talk or hear
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and grasp/manipulate and/or reach with fingers, hands and arms
- Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
