Job Summary

Deliver high-energy group clinics, private lessons, and summer camps for adult and junior members while supporting the High-Performance Program and weekly leagues. Lead sessions independently to ensure players are engaged, challenged, and having fun, responding to member inquiries with a positive attitude and creating a safe, inclusive environment. Collaborate with the Director of Racquets to improve programs, promote participation, and assist with event setup and administration. Be flexible to work evenings and weekends, covering teammates as needed. Requires Tennis Canada CP1 certification, 13 years of coaching experience, and First Aid/CPR credentials. Join a team aligned with the Tennis Canada Development Pathway at Richmond Country Club, offering year-round access to eight courts and pickleball facilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Tennis Canada CP1 Certification or international equivalent
  • Active TPA membership
  • 13 years of coaching experience
  • Professional Liability Insurance (via TPA or equivalent)
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
  • Minimum 4.0+ playing level
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in tennis instruction or professional roles
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Richmond, BC
  • Strong playing background
