Job Summary
Conduct playing and drilling lessons for all levels of competitive play at the National Tennis Center, demonstrating techniques at the highest levels. Teach, train, and facilitate play with individuals and teams while providing private instruction and clinics as assigned. Assist with event organization and management, implement Net Generation player development systems, and promote USTA goodwill among members and guests. Perform US Open duties as assigned. Requires strong on-court skills, USPTA or PTR certification, and ability to manage R.O.G.Y. formats. Part-time, non-exempt role with up to 28 hours weekly at $25-45 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Strong on-court tennis skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and teach tennis to all ages and levels
- Utilize USTA Player Development Philosophy on court and off court
- Able to organize and manage R.O.G.Y. tennis formats for teaching tennis to juniors
- Certification by USPTA and/or PTR organizations
