Job Summary
Tennis Professional delivers an exceptional tennis experience for members and guests through clinics, private lessons, and events; promotes tennis memberships; serves as the club’s tennis ambassador; organizes leagues, round robins, and tournaments; promotes participation and member engagement while maintaining facility quality and safety; requires USPTA or PTR certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of playing/instructing at a competitive or professional level with 1+ year of group clinic or instructional program experience and 1 year of event organization; expects strong customer-service skills, professionalism, and flexibility to support club operations, including weekends and holidays; physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate teaching aids and rackets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A recognized certification from a reputable tennis organization (e.g., USPTA or PTR)
- Minimum 2 years of experience playing, instructing, or coaching tennis at a competitive or professional level
- Minimum 1 year of experience conducting group tennis clinics, private lessons, or instructional programs for players of varying skill levels, including juniors and adults
- Minimum 1 year of experience organizing and running social events for members
