Job Summary
Conduct individual and group tennis lessons and clinics for players of all ages and skill levels while teaching fundamental techniques, strategies, and rules. Deliver an exceptional experience by maintaining a fun, energetic environment that prioritizes player safety and skill development. Assist with court preparation, equipment readiness, and program promotion to ensure outstanding service and retention. Maintain a professional demeanor and follow established curricula as needed. This part-time, hourly position requires approximately 15-20 hours per week indoors on tennis courts.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in both youth and adult instruction for tennis
- Strong playing ability and comprehensive knowledge of the rules, techniques, and strategies of tennis
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively teach and motivate diverse groups
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and skill levels
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Part-time, hourly position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., USTA, PTR)
