Job Summary
Teach beginner-friendly Tennis/Pickleball sessions for elementary school students (Grades K–5) at various Bay Area school sites, primarily in after-school, summer camp, and Saturday clinic programs. Manage class sizes of 8–16 students, maintain a positive environment, attend initial training or shadowing, take attendance and sign-ins, interact with parents/school staff, and capture a few class photos for documentation. Work with provided lesson plans and equipment; responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, maintaining student safety, and fostering a fun, active atmosphere. Opportunities may include one daily class for after-school programs (about one hour) with potential pre-care time and additional Saturday clinics. Strong tennis skills and coaching ability are valued; US work eligibility and in-person, local Bay Area availability are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Teaching or playing experience in Tennis is preferred but not mandatory.
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.
