Job Summary
Teach beginner-friendly Tennis/Pickleball sessions for elementary students (Grades K–5) at Bay Area school sites. Manage class sizes of 8–16, attend a 2-day training or shadowing session, and use provided lesson plans. Responsibilities include taking attendance, signing in students, communicating with parents/school staff, and capturing select class photos for documentation. Programs run across After School, Summer Camp, and Saturday Clinics with schedules including a 1–5 PM weekday window and potential extensions; equipment is provided. The role emphasizes creating a fun, active, and supportive environment for young beginners and may involve coaching across multiple sports (Yoga, Soccer, PE, Pickleball, Volleyball, Basketball, Dance).
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Teaching or playing experience in Tennis is preferred but not mandatory
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
- Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Good communication and class management skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
- Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports
- Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area
- Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work
- Applicants must already be eligible to work in the U.S.
