Job Summary
Manage classes of 8-16 students aged 5-10 using provided lesson plans, focusing on skill development for Grades K-3. Attend a two-day training session, transport and set up tennis equipment, and handle administrative tasks including attendance, parent communication, and student feedback. Capture photos of students in action during each session. Classes run 1-1.5 hours Monday through Friday between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., with a maximum of 2-5 hours per week. Candidates must be 19+, live in the Bay Area, and pass a live scan background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19+ years old upon application
- Willingness to undergo a live scan background check prior to working
- Have reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula
- Previous teaching or playing experience in tennis
- USPTA/PTR certification
- Enjoy working with kids and managing a class in a professional manner
- Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, enthusiastic approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Carry a resilient, positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Candidates need to be local to the US or already have a necessary working VISA
