Job Summary
Oversee the entire tendering process, from initial bid preparation and submission to negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and securing profitable projects. Collaborate with departments to gather information for competitive bids, conduct market research to identify opportunities, and prepare accurate cost estimates with the finance team. Mitigate risks in tender submissions, lead a team of professionals, and review outcomes to improve future strategies. Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on submission status. This role supports a leading holding company specializing in construction, infrastructure, and real estate in Saudi Arabia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in tendering or procurement, preferably within the contracting industry
- Strong understanding of the contracting market, including current trends and regulations
- Proven experience in preparing and winning competitive bids for large-scale projects
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable contract terms
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in tender management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
