Job Summary
Technical expert in FACTS/HVDC services supporting the commercial team to identify, qualify, and secure opportunities. Interfaces with regional and global customers, drafts complex offer and costing templates, supports RCA and ticket resolution, develops procedures and trainings to enhance regional capability, and collaborates with multiple functions to drive pre-ITO activities. Requires deep knowledge of FACTS/HVDC markets, ability to analyze customer needs, and strong program-management and communication skills; role involves travel and remote work as needed to support Regions and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in Engineering/Technology & Customer Application Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills when interfacing with internal and external customers
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-starter, ability to work remotely and achieve results with little direct supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficient written, verbal, and phone skills in English
- Deep knowledge on FACTS/HVDC portfolio: Synchronous, Condensers, Fixed Series Capacitors, Static Var Components (SVC), and STATCOM
- Experience in FACTS/HVDC Field Service and Commissioning
- Travel ability (car license and/or air travel)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Engineering degree in Power electronics
- Experience in utility market related to FACTS/HVDC is a plus
