Job Summary
Review tender documents to understand customer requirements and scope, then prepare accurate, competitive quotations using cost analysis and benchmarks. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather technical and commercial inputs while managing tender timelines to ensure high-quality, on-time submissions. Analyze bid opportunities to contribute to bid/no-bid decisions, identify and assess risks in bids, contracts, and estimates, and present risk reviews. Maintain clear, compliant documentation and perform quality checks. Engage with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements and support a positive experience. This role supports critical power infrastructure projects within Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration team, with opportunities in Power Quality Solutions and data center initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- 7+ years of experience in tender/bidding/sales position
- Experience in Power Quality Solutions / FACTS solutions (STATCOM, SVC, Synchronous Condensers) or HV Substations for Grid Connect Solutions & Data Center (including BESS)
- Proven ability to work in a process orientated, disciplined, and structured with a high commitment to results
- Proactive in establishing effective relationships and engaging with various team members
- Oriented to a leadership role since will lead multi discipline team to interface with all internal company areas and external partners
- Ability to travel 10-15%
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical is preferable
