Job Summary
Review new project inquiries and extract crucial information regarding execution techniques, materials, risk factors, and costs. Coordinate with legal, financial, technical, and QHSSE teams to prepare technically and commercially attractive proposals for clients. Consult subcontractors and suppliers to track project costs, then collaborate with the Tender Manager to develop a technical and commercial action plan. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, negotiating offers and presenting proposals, including brief international travel when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering, geology, geography or economics
- Broad interest, socially and commercially minded as well as technical insight
- Interest in large international projects
- Interest in the offshore business
- Will to learn, and to deepen and broaden your knowledge on the job
- Ability to extract complex information from voluminous documents
- Ability to collect the required technical, legal and commercial data
- Ability to write documents clearly and correctly
- Good listening skills, including reading between the lines
- Ability to negotiate
- Persistence and focus on completing tender documents by deadline
- Ability to travel abroad briefly
- Experience in the sector (added value, but implied as a trait to evaluate)
