Job Summary
Prepare accurate cost estimates and bill of quantities for underground cable systems, including LV/MV/HV cables, duct banks, and trenching works. Review tender documents, electrical drawings, and routing plans to support competitive technical and commercial proposals. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and prepare RFQ packages for electrical scopes. Assist in developing method statements for cable laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning while maintaining organized records of tender documentation and supplier databases. Collaborate with Procurement, Contracts, and Technical Office teams throughout the tendering process to submit proposals within specified deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Good understanding of underground cable systems (LV/MV/HV) and relevant standards
- Experience in quantity take-offs and pricing for cable laying, trenching, and duct bank systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Saudi standards (e.g., SEC specifications)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of ETAP or cable sizing tools
