Job Summary
Develop and manage tender documentation for commercial bids; coordinate tender processes, including evaluation of submissions; draft and administer contracts in line with Council policy and legislation; provide procurement and contract advice to internal stakeholders; support contract management activities, including monitoring performance and risk; prepare reports and documentation to support procurement and contract processes. Skills and experience include procurement, tendering and/or contract management; understanding of procurement frameworks and Local Government Act and Regulation; strong communication and stakeholder relationship-building; ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines; high attention to detail and problem-solving; well-developed IT skills including MS Office and related systems. Formal qualifications in Procurement, Contracting or Business Management, or equivalent relevant experience would be highly regarded. Read the full Position Description before applying.
