Job Summary
Act as the primary point of contact for exhibitors and tenants, building relationships based on trust and communication while enforcing company policies and contractual agreements. Oversee all operational aspects of events, including vendor coordination, site preparation, logistics management, and on-site staff supervision. Develop comprehensive event plans and timelines, allocate resources within budget constraints, and manage team shifts for event staff and volunteers. Coordinate logistics such as venue setup and equipment rentals, liaise with third-party vendors, and implement crowd control measures and security protocols. Manage event budgets, track CAPEX expenses, forecast operational costs, and prepare financial reports for management review. Conduct post-event evaluations, gather stakeholder feedback, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. This role requires flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in event operations and tenant relations
- Minimum of 4 years in a similar role within the events industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Sound knowledge of safety regulations and crowd management techniques
