Job Summary
Curate branded events, style décor, and maintain trending equipment to amplify owner and tenant value systems while fostering community and connection. Collaborate with leasing teams to design tailored tour experiences, manage engagement budgets, and track expenses for vendor invoicing and client billing. Serve as the point of contact for tenant mov-ins/move-outs, event requests, and VIP visits, while documenting and escalating maintenance issues through proper channels. Analyze marketing strategies and building app data to demonstrate quantified impact, presenting impact reports to program directors and asset managers. Cultivate connections with local businesses, non-profits, and community outreach programs to remain good stewards of neighborhoods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree – Communications, Hospitality, Retail, Travel or Marketing
- 1+ year of experience in meeting/event planning in government, corporate, or hotel and convention services
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion
- Exceptional customer service and hospitality
- Self-motivation and proactivity
- Ability to work independently as a project leader and as a team member
- Ability to relate well with others even while working at a distance without the benefit of personal contact
- Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Ability to set priorities and cope with competing demands
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Infrequent travel required
- Must be able to participate in monthly building walks and tenant visits
Desired Qualifications
- Work experience in the meeting planning industry preferred (Hotel, convention center, corporate or association)
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to understand and carry out industry specific written and oral direction
- Positive, innovative approach to problem solving
- Ability to present ideas in a clear, concise, understandable, and organized manner
- Ability to negotiate, persuade, and modify opinion in order to reach the goals/objectives of the organization
