Job Summary
Construction Intern (High School Level) supporting Project Managers on large multifamily residential projects in Hoboken, NJ. Responsibilities include assisting with daily construction operations, conducting site walks, reviewing drawings, specifications, and project schedules, maintaining project records, supporting cost tracking and budgeting, producing project reporting, attending meetings and taking minutes, and observing construction sequencing and field operations. Ideal candidates are enrolled in construction-management–related programs and are eager to learn, with strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. The role offers mentorship and potential future full-time opportunities after graduation.
Required Qualifications
- High School level or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, Engineering, or related field
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Strong interest in commercial or residential construction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
