Job Summary
Lead seasonal warehouse team members by monitoring daily productivity, attendance, and break compliance while ensuring smooth operations through effective resource allocation and workflow management. Oversee assigned shipping, packing, inventory, and fulfillment processes to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. Conduct coaching and corrective action conversations regarding performance and workplace behavior, providing direction and support throughout each shift. Utilize warehouse systems to generate reports and assist with onboarding new seasonal employees. Foster a positive, engaged work environment where employees feel motivated to perform at their best. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while promoting company safety standards. Communicate effectively with HR, supervisors, and security to resolve operational issues.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently working toward GED/equivalency
- Ability to coach employees and hold accountability conversations in a professional, respectful, and calm manner, even in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency, including typing, Microsoft Excel, timecard systems, and warehouse administration software
- Experience leading, coaching, or training employees
- Ability to set priorities, meet goals, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow all company safety procedures
- Flexibility to work in multiple departments based on business needs
- Demonstrated reliability with excellent attendance
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-oriented under pressure
- Willingness and availability to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime during peak season as business demands require
