Job Summary
Temporary Videographer/Editor for YouTube long-form content: shoot, edit, and deliver complete episodic YouTube series including 3–5 minute tutorials, pro-tip short-form content, and creator-process stories. Independently capture workflows and produce screen recordings and end-to-end demos with deep technical accuracy. Package creator-made content into engaging long-form pieces, ensuring strong pacing and visual rhythm. Apply platform-native editing practices to optimize hooks and continuity, while collaborating with Copywriters, Designer/Art Directors, and Creator Partners throughout pre-production to final delivery. Requires a strong long-form portfolio optimized for YouTube metrics, expertise with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and experience shooting with mirrorless cameras. This is a remote-first, part-time role with hybrid or in-office options and on-site shoots for content production; expected hours 15–35 per week.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional content creation experience
- Specialization in camera operation, high-volume screen capture, and video editing for long-form, episodic or internet-native content
- End-to-end video production and post-production pipeline expertise
- Strong portfolio/reel/channel link showcasing long-form content optimized for YouTube distribution metrics
- Experience shooting video on mirrorless cameras (e.g., Sony FX3) in studio and environmental settings
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve; CapCut or other social video editing applications
- Ability to manage production calendars and tight editing turnarounds
