Job Summary
Temporary Verification and Authorization Coordinator in Revenue Cycle performing surgical benefit verification and authorization. Responsibilities include organizing and tracking Surgery Information Sheets, ensuring completeness of insurance information for referrals, pre-certifications, and prior authorizations, verifying insurance with insurers, filing necessary forms, updating the practice management system with policy and referral details, estimating patient out-of-pocket costs, responding to inquiries, providing feedback to staff, communicating with patients, and participating in team meetings. Position is full-time, in-office or hybrid, located in Bloomington, MN and Golden Valley, MN; starting pay $21.00-$24.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (AA) from two-year college or technical school; and/or one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
