Job Summary
Senior Staff & Faculty Training Instructor/Advisor providing expert-level training to Army personnel and contractors, delivering instruction across classroom, in-person and virtual environments; develops and updates lesson plans, job aids, training aids, read-ahead materials, rubrics, and multimedia instructional products; conducts formative and summative evaluations and After Action Reviews, ensures safety protocols in training environments, and maintains accurate training records; applies adult learning principles, Army Learning Concepts, and TRADOC instructional policies, using instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) to develop performance-based learning solutions; skilled in delivering engaging instruction and assessing learner performance, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems; requires Bachelor’s degree, Active Secret clearance, and 6+ years of experience in adult military training to qualify.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in secondary education or related field
- Active Secret clearance
- Minimum of 6 years' experience, which includes teaching adults in a variety of student-centric and teacher-centric learning environments, including teaching military personnel in training and/or educational settings for a minimum of 4 years within the last 6 years
- Graduate of SFDB designated course or ability to pass the first time
