Job Summary
Join our medicinal chemistry team as a Temporary Research Associate / Scientist, focusing on the development and optimization of oligonucleotide conjugates for targeted delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics. Responsibilities include synthesis of chemically modified oligonucleotides, design and optimization of bioconjugation strategies, purification of oligonucleotide conjugates, characterization using analytical techniques, and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field, along with laboratory experience in bioconjugation and proficiency in various purification and analytical techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field
- 2+ years of laboratory experience in bioconjugation
- Experience with purification techniques (e.g., ion exchange, reverse-phase, and size-exclusion chromatography)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with oligonucleotide chemistry
- Experience in nucleoside/oligonucleotide synthesis and purification
- Proficiency with common bioconjugation chemistries including SPAAC and Maleimide
- Proficiency in common analytical techniques including HPLC and mass spectrometry
