Job Summary
Temporary Research Aide to support the MULTIMESO Lab's research on hygromorphic, wood-based biomaterials and bio-inspired, additive manufacturing for architectural systems. Responsibilities include assisting with research activities related to bio-inspired and hygromorphic material systems, supporting fabrication, assembly, and testing of physical prototypes, assisting with material preparation, documentation, and data collection, maintaining an organized and safe lab workspace, collaborating with lab members during prototyping and testing, and performing routine research support tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Background in architecture, design technology, materials science or related field (preferred)
- Interest in material research, fabrication, and experimental prototyping
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and collaborative work in a lab environment
