Temporary PreK Lead Teacher

Lead Teacher for a temporary PreK classroom implementing a play-responsive, Reggio Emilia–inspired emergent curriculum. Responsibilities include fostering social-emotional learning, building relationships, and guiding language arts and mathematics through a project approach. Requires a minimum of three years' lead teaching experience in an early childhood setting; ideally a degree in Early Childhood Education or development or at least 12 ECE units. Collaborates with colleagues, including grade-level partners and specialist teachers, to support inclusive, joyful, engaged, and metacognitive learners. Position is full-time temporary from August 10, 2026 to February 19, 2027, located in San Mateo, CA (in-person); salary range $75K–$85K depending on experience/education.
