Job Summary
Deliveries of manufactured goods from the Leonard plant to designated destinations within a defined driving region, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant transport under DOT regulations. Operate tractor-trailer equipment with a valid CDL (A or B) and maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage, and hours of service. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, coordinate with the logistics team to optimize delivery schedules, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain professional, customer-focused communications with recipients. Role requires travel within the designated region and adherence to safety protocols; no direct reports and a remote-based description with on-site driving responsibilities. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating tractor-trailer
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations (hours of service, inspections, cargo securement)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and perform basic maintenance checks
