Job Summary
Collect blood samples from patients of all ages via venipuncture and process clinical specimen accessions. Check patients in and out, manage appointment scheduling, answer phones, and greet visitors at the Easthampton Health Center. Proficiency in computer data entry and equipment operation is required. This temporary, full-time role offers 40 hours Monday through Friday, generally between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with a schedule subject to department needs. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
- Previous customer service or medical office experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must have good customer service skills
- Must be proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment
- Must be available for Monday - Friday hours generally between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Must be available for temporary position
Desired Qualifications
- CPT preferred, but not required
- EMR experience preferred
- Athena experience a plus
