Temporary Part Time Tutor

Job Summary
Provide small group and/or one-on-one tutoring in designated content areas (e.g., reading, math), assist with targeted instructional activities aligned with classroom objectives, monitor student progress and provide feedback to supervising teachers, maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student participation, follow the school’s schedule and expectations for student engagement and supervision, communicate professionally with students, staff, and families, maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies, and perform other duties as assigned by the principal or designee. Requires Associate's degree or 48 college credits (higher preferred); prior experience with school-age children is preferred; must pass criminal background check; flexible part-time hours based on school needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 48 hours of college credits required; or higher preferred
- Prior experience working with school-age children in an educational setting is preferred
- Must pass a criminal background check as required by the school system
