Job Summary
Shift Supervisor responsible for supervising day-to-day operations, programming, staffing, and client services at TBNC; leadership team member serving as central point of contact for staff and participants; ensure a safe, trauma-informed, welcoming environment; provide guidance to staff with the Director's support; participate in policy implementation, shift meetings, and incident reporting; de-escalate crises, uphold professional boundaries, and support a multidisciplinary team; require a Bachelor's degree and experience with diverse populations; strong English communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills; workload includes evenings/weekends and adherence to vaccination requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; combination of relevant experience and education considered
- At least one year of experience working with diverse populations (race/ethnicity, gender identities, sexual orientations, people who use substances, homelessness, mental health challenges, disabilities, HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis C)
- Comfortable and culturally competent in working with LGBTQ+ communities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of persons, documents, data, and communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated reliability and strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to multitask in a multiracial/multicultural setting
- Ability to provide courteous, professional customer service to a diverse clientele
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends; fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster) with proof; up-to-date vaccinations including flu vaccine
- Proof of TB clearance issued within the past 12 months
