Job Summary
Temporary Part-Time Instructor for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging program. Responsibilities include curriculum development and instructional delivery in classroom, laboratory, and industry settings; assessment, evaluation, and maintenance of student progress and academic records; active participation in student support services and program operations. The role requires facilitating learning using instructional strategies and educational technology, creating assessment tools, coaching and tutoring students to maximize success and retention, coordinating with clinical partner sites in Alberta and Saskatchewan, conducting site visits (virtual and in-person), providing preceptor orientations and ongoing support, and maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and industry partners. Strong collaboration, communications, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Some evening and weekend site travel may be required; remote work within Canada is possible per program policies.
Required Qualifications
- A Diploma or Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from a recognized post-secondary institute
- A related Bachelor’s degree (in health sciences, or science, preferred) is an asset
- CAMRT certification in MRI, ACMDTT registration in MRI is required
- IV Certification is required
- Annual certification in BLS for HCP may be required
- 2-5 years of recent, relevant clinical experience as an MRI Technologist
