Temporary Part-Time Food Service Worker

Temporary, part-time Food Service Worker at RISD Dining and Catering. Assist culinary staff with basic kitchen, commissary and catering items as assigned to specifications; perform food preparation tasks including washing, peeling, cutting, handling and storing ingredients; operate dish machines and maintain cleanliness and sanitation; set up and breakdown dining locations across campus; provide front-of-house hospitality and service to a diverse clientele; respond to customer needs with professional service; work flexible shifts AM and PM and across campus locations as directed by the supervisor. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a restaurant, college or café-style food service environment; strong attention to detail and customer service orientation; ability to transition between different operations as needed.
