Job Summary
Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, discuss client treatment goals, and create individualized Master Treatment Plans based on clinical assessments. Provide counseling services while carrying a client caseload, complete necessary documentation for compliance, and update progress notes, discharge summaries, and utilization reviews. Participate in weekly clinical supervision, staff meetings, and performance improvement initiatives, while assigning leadership roles to clients and approving request slips for visits. Adhere to confidentiality laws and maintain ethical boundaries with clients.
Required Qualifications
- Required to maintain state trainee status thru applicable agency
- Be working toward full licensure with applicable agency
- Addiction counseling and/or substance abuse treatment history
- Working knowledge of MS Office, email and EHR systems
- Attention to detail and completeness of all clinical notes and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers
- Satisfactory criminal background check
- Satisfactory drug screen
