Job Summary
Temporary Operational Buyer/Planner responsible for ensuring material availability and cost during Industrialization for Philips' Image Guided Therapy business. Analyzes Operational Material Management KPIs, generates purchase orders, monitors supplier delivery time, quality, and price, validates order quantities, and coordinates forecasts with suppliers to balance material and production planning. Oversees stock levels, supplier business reviews, and implements supply-disruption mitigation strategies while driving cost savings and strategic supplier relationships to support production ramp-up. Requires a Bachelor/Master of Science in a technical or business field and 4+ years in supply chain-related roles; SAP ERP and Lean Six Sigma experience; onsite presence with at least 3 days per week in Colorado Springs, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master of Science degree in a technical or business field
- 4+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, production planning, or materials planning functions
- strong knowledge of planning and supply chain industry practices
- SAP ERP system experience
- Lean Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred)
- experience in mature S&OP environments, driving continuous improvement, and implementing Lean methodologies
- proven ability to manage all aspects of tactical material planning
- excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
