Job Summary
Greet students, faculty, and guests upon entry to the Shields Dining Hall while verifying meal plans and student IDs. Monitor dining room activity to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment by addressing spills, hazards, and disruptive behavior. Circulate throughout the area assisting patrons with inquiries, directing them to stations, and ensuring compliance with policies like the "no outside food" rule. Assist with maintaining cleanliness by wiping down surfaces and report any equipment malfunctions or significant incidents immediately to management. Maintain a standing position for extended periods up to six hours at a time while following food safety procedures.
