Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessment and treatment planning for students, including individuals, couples, and group therapy. Provide consultation to faculty and staff regarding student mental health needs and deliver crisis assessment and intervention services. Participate in training and professional development activities while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Requires current Iowa licensure as a mental health therapist or licensed independent social worker, a master's degree in a related field, and direct client therapy experience. Full consideration deadline is August 3, 2026, with an expected end date of May 2027. Compensation ranges from $30.00 to commensurate based on pay grade 119.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field
- current Iowa licensure as a mental health therapist or licensed independent social worker
- experience providing direct client therapy
