Job Summary
Move, locate, and store materials using forklift or other powered equipment; accurately pick and pack items for shipment; complete required paperwork and project time-tracking documentation; restock items not needed short term; assist with contacting freight couriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries; label and prepare items for shipment and load/unload trucks; update the Warehouse Management System with transactions; perform daily safety checklist and battery charging procedures; assist team members in meeting and exceeding customer expectations; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; requires forklift certification and warehouse/manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or three years of relevant warehouse experience
- Current forklift certification or the ability to become certified within 30 days
- Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds alone and greater weights in a team-lift environment
- Capable of lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods
- Able to climb ladders as needed
