Temporary Material Coordinator

Coordinate all materials functions within a designated cell/area on the production floor; maintain inventory accuracy and accuracy of reject requirements; provide excellent internal customer service; manage materials for Engineering Change Orders (ECN) and Engineering Approved Deviation (EAD) to released jobs; drive reduction of inventory adjustments; monitor and meet material measurements; coordinate material from staging to point of use by requirement date; ensure communication to other plants with shipping requirements, reduce obsolescence, manage gateways, and reduce past-due demands to zero; monitor line entry schedules and part status during build; ensure material in STAGING REC 99 is tracked within 24 hours; ensure MRP and MRB processes are followed; work with cell team to maintain live bus records; perform cell audits for inventory accuracy; address issues related to uncontrollable items, cross training, and inter-organizational communication; ensure compliance with ISO procedures, 5P’s, and promote continuous improvement; maintain a safe work environment per safety policies and procedures.
