Job Summary
Maintain all plant equipment to ensure 100% production uptime while complying with safety policies and minimizing impact on other departments. Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems, including basic carpentry, painting, and lighting. Coordinate work schedules with production and manufacturing engineering, submit completed work orders to the Team Lead, and assist the Maintenance Supervisor as requested. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery like forklifts and aerial lifts, working from various heights with little supervision. Read blueprints and possess mechanical aptitude to handle diverse tasks while prioritizing higher production stoppages.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good people skills
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to monitor and control many different tasks
- Must have medium level computer skills
- Must possess mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Ability to work from various heights
- Ability to safely leave one project to support higher priority Production stoppages
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools and specialized machinery such as forklifts, aerial lifts, floor scrubbers and sweepers
- Knowledge of hydraulics, and all types of motors and pumps
- Must be able to repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems
- Must be able to carry out basic repairs such as carpentry, painting, flooring, lighting, and small-scale installations
- Must be able to comply with all company safety policies
- Must be able to maintain a high level of quality of the work being performed
- Must be able to maintain the required work schedule while coordinating with production and manufacturing engineering for production equipment and area availability
- Must be able to interface and communicate with other departments or affected areas to ensure that production impact is minimized at all times
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision
- Must be able to ensure all work orders are closed when completed and submitted to Team Lead
- Must be able to assist Maintenance Supervisor and Team Lead as requested
- PLC and Laser Fab experience preferred
- Industrial Maintenance preferred
