Job Summary

Draft, review, negotiate, and amend complex commercial contracts including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements across the United States. Provide practical counsel on contract provisions, guide internal personnel on risk issues, and support proposal and RFP responses by identifying legal and commercial risks. Manage contract intake, prioritize legal issues, and recommend improvements to templates and internal processes. Support HR on employment, compliance, and employee-relations matters while assisting with corporate governance and entity maintenance. Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure timely legal input on business objectives. This temporary contract role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and may be performed from the Alpharetta, GA office or remotely.

Required Qualifications

  • Law degree from an accredited US law school
  • Admission to at least one state Bar in the United States
  • Georgia or California Bar license preferred
  • Approximately 3 to 10 years of legal experience
  • In-house legal experience
  • Corporate defense experience
  • Commercial legal role experience
  • Significant contracting responsibility
  • Demonstrated experience handling a high volume of contracts
  • Experience negotiating and drafting relevant documents through conclusion
  • Broad legal experience sufficient to advise on and manage practical legal matters for a business operating across the United States
