Job Summary
Conduct laundry services by collecting soiled clothing, sorting, washing, drying, folding, counting, and distributing personal items to residents. Perform closet audits to verify correct labels and organize spaces, while inspecting garments for wear and tear to identify replacements from donations. Transport supplies between storage and collection areas, maintain sanitary laundry room environments, and label inventory for new resident items. Provide one-on-one customer service and locate missing items per procedure. Requires ability to lift 20 to 50 lbs, flexible evening and weekend hours, and adherence to dress codes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to complete simple computational skills
- Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position
- Ability to meet acceptable background check standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as appropriate
- Typically lifts 20 to 50 lbs
