Job Summary
Perform general golf course grounds and facility maintenance including snow removal, litter cleanup, pruning, restroom cleaning, signage upkeep, fencing repair, painting, watering, raking, weeding, digging, grass seeding, sod installation, mowing, aerating, and top-dressing. Operate light, medium, and specialized equipment as required while executing minor repairs such as carpentry, electrical work, concrete finishing, and sand trap maintenance. Change cup locations on greens per USGA recommendations. Pass a required pre-employment background check. Work an average of 29 hours or less per week or 129 hours or less per month as an at-will, non-exempt employee without County benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements
- Must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month
- Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy
- Are not considered merit employees
- Are at will employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing
