Job Summary
Perform general golf course grounds and facility maintenance including snow removal, litter cleanup, pruning, restroom cleaning, and minor repairs such as painting, carpentry, and fencing. Operate light, medium, and specialized equipment to complete tasks like grass seeding, sod installation, mowing, aerating, and top-dressing fairways, roughs, tees, and greens. Execute sand trap maintenance and change cup locations on greens per USGA recommendations. Pass a required pre-employment background check. This temporary, at-will, non-exempt position requires working an average of 29 hours or less per week and does not include County benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements
- Must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month
- Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy
- Are not considered merit employees
- Are 'at will' employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing
