Job Summary
Conduct adaptive sports, social programs, aquatics, and inclusion services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities across Salt Lake County locations. Deliver recreational activities and mainstream inclusion support primarily at Copperview Recreation Center, with assignments subject to program needs. Pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with County Human Resources policy. Work an average of 29 hours or less per week or 129 hours or less per month as an at-will, non-exempt employee. Enjoy a free center membership and an enjoyable work environment focused on helping people with disabilities have fun and learn new skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
- Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.
- Are not considered merit employees.
- Are 'at will' employees who may be terminated for any reason, without notice, and without a pre-termination hearing.
- The selected applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements
