Job Summary
Temporary HR Generalist embedded in a lean HR function for a multi-division construction/restoration company. Manages payroll processing in Paylocity for commission and non-commission employees, onboarding logistics from offer to day-one readiness, timecard and time-off verification, structured new hire check-ins (30/60/90 days), maintenance of HR records and documentation compliant with policy and federal/state law, and HR reporting. Supports employee recognition programs and ensures SOP-compliant completion of HR duties. Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site per week with remote flexibility after training. Requires 4+ years of HR generalist experience; Paylocity experience is a strong plus. Location: Savage, MN.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of HR generalist experience
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing and HRIS platforms
- Strong working knowledge of onboarding, employee relations, and HR documentation
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, multi-department environment
- Proficient in HR software; Paylocity experience a strong plus
