Job Summary
Identify and secure market-rate rental units throughout the San Francisco Greater Bay Area by generating leads via phone, internet, social media, and canvassing. Market program incentives to prospective landlords and property managers, then provide continuous account management and support to nurture repeat business. Conduct housing quality inspections to advise stakeholders on deficiencies and maintain accurate property data within the internal Salesforce database. Design reports and workflow systems to optimize acquisition strategies while tactfully mediating issues between landlords and tenants. This role drives the SFHP team's goal of ending homelessness cycles by securing community-based units for vulnerable populations across California.
Required Qualifications
- Valid, clean CA driver's license
- Personal insured vehicle
- Physical mobility for tasks such as standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces
- Capability to perform stationary tasks like sitting for up to 6 to 8 hours a day
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull light to moderate weights up to 15 pounds safely
- Mental acuity for analytical reasoning and document interpretation
- Access to reliable transportation
- Possession of a valid California driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Automobile insurance
- Willingness to travel and make multiple visits in the community
- Flexibility required regarding scheduling and prioritizing of tasks
- Basic computer knowledge

- Excel (moderate to strong)

- Experience in leasing, real estate, property management, supportive housing, San Francisco Greater Bay area's rental markets, city planning/public policy, subsidy programs or sales
