Job Summary
Provide 1st line technical support to faculty, staff, and students for hardware and software issues via phone, email, or onsite visits. Troubleshoot Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, while managing Outlook within a network environment. Demonstrate proficiency in Windows desktop technologies, PC hardware configuration, imaging, and Smart board setups. Prioritize multiple projects and interact effectively with diverse groups using clear verbal communication skills. Report to the Director of Information Technology and Systems Administrator.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience relevant to 1st line/help desk support
- Proven experience using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, One Drive)
- Demonstrated experience managing Outlook within a network environment
- Excellent people skills, ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people
- Strong verbal communication skills, ability to disseminate information in a clear, concise manner both in person and via telephone
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and work efficiently
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows desktop technologies
- Familiarity with Smart board configurations and set up
- Solid understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration and imaging computers
- Ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
