Job Summary
Groundskeeper at Pine Hills Golf & Supper Club within North Star Mohican Casino Resort. Responsibilities include maintaining grass areas, trimming and weed control, keeping walkways clear of debris and snow, planting and maintaining outdoor flora, operating lawn and ground equipment (plows, sweepers, chainsaws), performing routine equipment maintenance, reporting hazards, recommending ground improvements, coordinating with landscapers and supervisors, assisting with signage changes, maintaining equipment inventories, and attending training. Requires strong reliability, punctuality, ability to work weekends/nights/holidays, and compliance with workplace policies; valid Wisconsin driver’s license and Mohican Nation Gaming License eligibility are required. Training and equal opportunity employment per tribal guidelines are noted.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; required for applicants 19 years old and under
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License
- Successful completion of a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB)
- Consistent attendance
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and health screening
- Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Courteous and friendly demeanor
- Previous groundskeeping experience preferred
- Ability to operate specified equipment
- Read and understand labels and MSDS
- Willingness to work in varied and extreme weather conditions
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Ability to obtain forklift certification and training
